What Is Conscious Leadership?
Conscious leadership is grounded in self-awareness, authenticity, and a commitment to personal and organizational growth. It’s taking leadership to the next level by focusing on the business and making sure that you, as a leader, are also prioritizing your personal development.

What’s Important to Conscious Leaders?
Conscious leaders seek to create a workplace culture that aligns with their values and purpose and fosters a sense of connection, meaning, and fulfillment for all stakeholders.

What’s In Their Hearts?
Recognizing that businesses are more than just profit-making entities, they are also social and environmental entities responsible for acting as good stewards of their resources and contributing to their community’s well-being.

What Are They Committed To?
They are committed to creating financially successful, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable organizations. They recognize that their actions impact the world and seek to positively impact them by aligning their values and activities with a larger sense of purpose.

Here are a few ways that Conscious Leadership shows up in practice:
Conscious leadership involves several essential practices and principles, including:

Self-awareness: Conscious leaders are committed to developing a deep understanding of themselves, including their values, beliefs, strengths, and weaknesses.
Authenticity: Conscious leaders strive to be authentic and true to themselves and to lead with integrity and transparency.
Mindfulness: Conscious leaders practice mindfulness and presence and seek to be fully engaged and attentive in their interactions.
Empathy: Conscious leaders seek to understand the perspectives of others and cultivate a sense of empathy and compassion for all stakeholders.
Purpose: Conscious leaders are driven by a sense of purpose beyond profit-making and seek to create organizations aligned with their values and purpose.
Collaboration: Conscious leaders recognize that success is not achieved in isolation and seek to foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

So let’s pull all of this together…
Conscious leadership is a holistic and integrative approach to leadership that seeks to create positive change in the world by aligning personal and organizational values with a larger sense of purpose and responsibility.

While shifting the mindset to conscious leadership is difficult, it is much more manageable with a coach who can walk you and your leadership team through the process, hold you accountable, and provide a safe space to do so.

I work with leaders who have already embarked upon the journey to Conscious Leadership and those who want to be Conscious Leaders but recognize that they have a few things to “grow through” before taking up the charge.
